Cogir Senior Living in Newberg, OR seeks a compassionate Cook for our community restaurant. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and staff, working with the culinary director to deliver high-quality dishes from scratch using seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
• Food Handler Card and understanding of kitchen sanitation.
• Experience in full-service kitchen and ability to cook from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas promptly.
• Keep stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services for timely service.
• Check inventory and restock foods for service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in training including food handling.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning supplies.
• Assist kitchen operations as needed.
• Support residents with quality service.
