Cogir Senior Living in Vancouver, WA is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents and guests. You will work closely with the culinary director to design seasonal options and scratch-made dishes, serving our senior community with care.

The ideal candidate brings kitchen experience, a strong sense of cleanliness, and ability to follow menus, dietary guidelines, and safety standards while maintaining a high volume of meal production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary school is a plus or equivalent education/experience.
• Food Handler Card and knowledge of kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas promptly.
• Keep all stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service.
• Check and restock foods for proper service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Complete required training, including food handling certifications.
• Assist in all kitchen operations as needed.
