Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents and guests in a community restaurant. You will work closely with the culinary director to create comforting and global dishes, with a quarterly seasonal menu using local ingredients.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a full-service kitchen, with strong recipe execution and knowledge of dietary restrictions for seniors. Flexible shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary School is a plus or equivalent experience.
• Food Handler Card and kitchen sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas; keep stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service.
• Check and restock foods; adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in all kitchen operations as needed.
