Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our community restaurant. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and staff, working closely with the culinary director to offer traditional and global dishes made from scratch.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a full-service kitchen, strong knife skills, and the ability to read and execute recipes while complying with dietary needs and safety standards. Flexible shifts including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary training a plus.
• Food Handler Card with understanding of sanitation and codes.
• Experience in full-service kitchen and preparing meals from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas; keep stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services for timely meal service.
• Check and restock foods; adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in training on food handling and safety certifications.
