Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Cook for our community restaurant. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents and guests, collaborating with the culinary director to create menus that blend comfort and global flavors made from scratch.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a full-service kitchen, understands dietary restrictions for seniors, and can work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. We offer growth and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in full-service kitchen environments.
• Ability to read and execute recipes and follow dietary guidelines.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling.
• Experience with batch cooking and senior living dietary needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas; keep stations clean and sanitized.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service and proper restocking.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and participate in required trainings.
