Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals and support our residents in a team-focused environment. You will cook à la carte items, monitor stock, maintain sanitation, and assist with training of Culinary staff to ensure exceptional service.

Requirements include ServSafe and Food Handler’s permits, plus the ability to prepare specialized diets and communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
