Koelsch Communities’ The Gardens at Laguna Springs is seeking a Cook to join its Culinary Department. Full-time and part-time opportunities. Day shift 6AM-2:30PM, weekends included, with pay between $19.50 and $21.50 per hour depending on experience.

You will prepare nutritious, appealing meals for residents, maintain safety and cleanliness, follow menus, and participate in a supportive team. Benefits include health coverage, paid vacation, and opportunities for growth within Koelsch Communities.

Qualifications

• Approved Dietary Manager's Course or ServSafe Food Handler's certificate.
• Food handlers’ certificate as per state requirements.
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Drug-free and able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals that are nutritious and visually appealing according to menu and schedules.
• Properly store, date, and rotate food; keep kitchen environment safe and clean.
• Follow kitchen cleaning schedule and maintain a tidy work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
