Job summary

The Gardens at Laguna Springs in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Culinary Department. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with an hourly rate between $19.50 and $21.50, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler's certificate (certificate must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• All requirements related to the food handlers’ certificate per state requirements
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation
• Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Knowledge of special dietary needs
