Springs Ranch memory care is seeking a skilled Cook for a full-time role in Colorado Springs. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, ensuring presentation aligns with the menu and dietary needs.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Culinary Department at Springs Ranch memory care!

Who you are:

You enjoy providing outstanding service and producing high quality nutrition. The Cook’s role is preparing and serving attractive and tasty meals for the community.

What you'll do:

• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner per the menu and schedule
• Properly store, date, and rotate food per food handling guidelines
• Keep the environment safe and clean
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Candidates applying must have completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler's certificate. (Candidates without Servsafe will be considered but must receive the certificate within the first 30 days of employment)
• All requirements related to the food handlers’ certificate per state requirements
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation
• Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Knowledge of special dietary needs
