Job summary

Koelsch Communities’ The Park at Laguna Springs is seeking a skilled Cook to join the Culinary Department on a part-time basis. The day shift runs Fri and Sat, 5:30 AM – 2 PM, with pay between $19.50 and $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will prepare nutritious and appealing meals, follow safety guidelines, store and rotate inventory, and maintain a clean kitchen. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, vacation, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification or Dietary Manager's Course required or to be completed within 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Drug-free and must pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menu and schedule in a nutritional, appetizing way.
• Properly store, date, and rotate food per guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen environment safe and clean.
• Follow the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
