Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Cook to prepare scratch-made meals per planned menus and dietary guidelines while ensuring safety and sanitation standards for our residents.

You will assist the Food Service Manager with inventory and supplies, supervise staff when the Manager is unavailable, set up breakfast bars and service stations, and help create a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to create a great dining experience for residents and families.
