Job summary

Pines-Senior-Living Cedar Creek Lodge is seeking an experienced Cook to craft delicious and nutritious meals for our residents. You will prepare meals per menu specifications, maintain high food safety standards, and collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal options.

We value a passion for great food, 3–5 years of cook or chef experience in settings including senior living, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living community preferred.
• Experience as a short order cook required.
• Must have full scale recipe production experience.
• A genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
