Pines-Senior-Living in Cedar Creek Lodge is seeking a talented cook to craft hearty and nutritious meals for our residents. You will work in a dynamic on-site kitchen, preparing a range of dishes from home-style staples to thoughtful special items, all while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cooking experience, including short-order skills, a passion for quality food, and the ability to adapt to dietary requirements.

Hours: PT (6am-6pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years' experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living community preferred.
• Experience as a short order cook required
• Must have full scale recipe production experience
• A genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
