Job summary

The Crossings at Riverchase in Birmingham, AL is seeking a friendly Concierge to welcome residents and visitors, manage the front desk, answer phones, and coordinate deliveries. You will relay messages, guide guests, and support the Lifestyles and other departments to ensure a smooth, mansion-like experience for residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in customer service, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related customer service experience required.
• Experience in long-term care, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, organization, and professional communication is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents and visitors at the front desk; manage sign-in/out for visitors and vendors; handle incoming calls; inform residents or staff of arrivals.
• Accommodate resident requests for assistance and refer to other staff as needed.
• Provide marketing information to visitors.
• Assist Lifestyles Department with program/event reservations and collect fees; maintain records.
• Maintain and update resident information and phone lists; perform clerical duties.
• Support other departments to ensure high-quality resident service.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
