Job summary

Calveria Living seeks a Director of Community Relations to drive occupancy and maximize revenue by attracting qualified prospects and converting them into Residents. You will lead community outreach and referral development to meet marketing and sales goals.

The role requires senior living industry experience, strong customer service, and the ability to travel 30% of the time to referral sources, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and related marketing software.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
• Cheerful personality.
• Keen desire to serve seniors.
• Five years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record.
• Previously senior living experience preferred.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Creative approach to goals and problems.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related software.
• Physically able to bend and reach.
• Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Spends at least 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market area.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum occupancy and revenue by attracting prospects and converting them into Residents.
• Responsible for community outreach and education activities for referrals.
• Regularly meets goals including time in selling zone, outreach zone, calls, tours, and move-ins.
• Responds to inquiries, schedules visits, conducts tours, and closes sales per goals.
• Reviews prospects in the pipeline daily and weekly.
• Participates in sales meetings and marketing planning sessions.
• Ensures marketing uses Sherpa for sales activities.
• Provides updates in Stand-Up meetings on census and moves.
