Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Community Relations Director in San Diego to lead sales and marketing, drive occupancy, and develop relationships with referral sources. You will oversee tours, lead generation, and revenue growth while coordinating with regional teams to meet occupancy goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in relational sales in senior living or healthcare, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a passion for serving seniors. Strong communication and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of relational sales experience in senior living, healthcare, or related fields.
• A positive team player mentality with a passion for serving seniors.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong time management, initiative, and judgment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; evenings/weekends if needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the community.
• Design and execute the annual marketing plan with leadership input.
• Build and manage the lead base; respond to inquiries remotely and in real time.
• Maintain occupancy and revenue according to plans.
• Conduct walk-in and scheduled tours with prospects.
• Provide sales activity reports with lead status and next steps.
• Follow up with potential residents and referral sources.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy (Yardi).
• Supervise and motivate the sales team.
• Foster resident satisfaction through relationships with residents and staff.
• Understand care regulations to ensure proper placement and education.
• Represent the community at outreach events and trade shows.
• Monitor promotional inventory and print advertising needs.
• Manage social media accounts and marketing budget.
