Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring Chefs at The Reserve at East Longmeadow. This full-time role offers $21.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits from Day 1, including health, vision, dental, 401k, and paid time off.

You will work with the Culinary Services Director to provide restaurant-style dining for residents, supervise kitchen staff, help with dining enhancement programs, and ensure safe, sanitary kitchens.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Minimum 1–3 years as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and promote a restaurant dining atmosphere.
• Assist Culinary Director with supervision of culinary staff.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs.
• Maintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean, safe, sanitary condition.
• Open and/or close the kitchen; follow cleaning schedules.
• Ensure food is received, stored and prepared per company standards.
• Estimate daily/weekly food and supply needs and communicate needs.
• Prepare meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Document temperatures of food and monitor refrigeration.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
