Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring cooks for The Residence at Paine Estate. Full-time and part-time positions available with a wage band of $24.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience.

Benefits start day one for full-time associates, including health, vision, dental, 401k and PTO. Responsibilities include preparing meals to recipes, maintaining a clean kitchen, supervising staff, and assisting with dining enhancement programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 years as a cook in hospitality or healthcare.
• Serve Safe Certification is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, production guides, schedules and logs.
• Ability to lift at least 15 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and approved menus.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, sanitary condition and follow schedules.
• Assist with supervision of culinary staff and special events.
• Open and/or close the kitchen; manage food storage and temperatures.
• Transport and store food and supplies as needed.
