Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring full-time cooks at Suffield by the River. The role offers a wage band of $22.00–$24.50 per hour, with benefits starting from day one, including Health, Vision, Dental, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist Culinary Director with supervision of culinary staff.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs and menus.
• Maintain kitchen, food storage and prep areas clean, safe and Sanitary.
• Open and/or close the kitchen and adhere to cleaning schedules.
• Document food temperatures and ensure proper refrigeration.
• Prepare snacks and beverages for residents and assist with events and banquets.
