Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Active LPN or RN license preferred (depending on state requirements).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior living, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of state regulations and compliance standards for assisted living and memory care.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Care Plan Development & Management: Assess residents’ needs and create ISPs with staff, residents, and families.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to change with residents’ needs and regulatory guidelines.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Provide leadership and training to caregiving staff; ensure adherence to care protocols.
• Support staff scheduling to maintain proper staffing levels for quality care.
• Resident & Family Engagement: Be the primary contact for residents and families; coordinate meetings and updates.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulations and policies; participate in audits.
• Collaboration: Work with nursing, physicians, therapists, and leadership to coordinate care services.
