Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Centennial, CO invites applications for an Assisted Living Coordinator. This role oversees caregiver staffing, care plans, and resident wellbeing, coordinating with the Wellness Director on conditions and changes in care needs.

Key duties include hiring/training staff, managing schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate resident records and daily logs to support safe and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of health related experience in long-term care or assisted living supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of State approved Medication Administration training.
• Current first aid certificate as required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule caregivers and med techs.
• Monitor resident care needs and alert the Wellness Director when conditions change.
• Maintain accurate records in the Daily Log and report changes to the Wellness Director.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are met and supplies are available for staff.
• Develop, maintain, and update resident negotiated service plans and assessments.
