Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Summerville, SC is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist residents with daily living, monitor wellbeing, and support the nursing team. You will respond to calls, help with mobility, dining, activities, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, strong communication, organization, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must lift 50 lbs and assist transfers with proper body mechanics.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to care calls and emergencies.
• Communicate resident status and needs to the nursing team.
• Support activity planning and confidentiality policies.
