Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities, respond to calls and emergencies, and assist in planning engaging activities. You will work as part of a compassionate nursing team while upholding privacy and safety standards.

Required: high school diploma or GED, PCA program completion, strong communication, ability to lift 50 lbs, and CPR/First Aid certification (or within 60 days).

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reports incidents involving residents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
