Job summary

Lo Har Senior Living in California is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to lead the resident admissions process, building relationships with prospective residents and families. You will guide tours, collect pre-admission information, and ensure compliant, efficient admissions while coordinating with the Wellness Leader and management team.

The role requires healthcare setting experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
• Superior communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• Valid state issued driver’s license and travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential residents and families to provide information about admissions.
• Conduct tours of the community for potential residents and families.
• Manage pre-admission documentation with applicants.
• Perform screening assessments and verification of financial information.
• Explain room rates, billing procedures, and house rules.
• Obtain signatures on permits and authorizations.
• Maintain accurate daily census and admissions records.
• Collaborate with Wellness Leader and management team.
• Must have reliable transportation for business purposes.
• Assist residents with SSI/DMV appointments.
