Job summary

Legacy Healthcare in Milwaukee seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a skilled nursing facility, ensuring resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance.

You will supervise the interdisciplinary team, drive quality metrics, oversee staffing and surveys, and partner with nursing leadership to maintain safety, dignity, and excellent resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current LNHA license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state nursing facility regulations and survey processes.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, quality initiatives, and facility operations.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, employees, physicians, and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard business/administrative software.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and licensing requirements.
• Maintain a strong culture of resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
• Lead and support department directors, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor clinical, operational, staffing, and quality metrics and implement corrective action when needed.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of facility policies and procedures.
• Prepare for and manage regulatory surveys, audits, inspections, and investigations.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budget, census goals, labor costs, and financial performance.
• Partner with Director of Nursing to promote quality outcomes and compliance.
