Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a skilled nursing facility. The LNHA will direct operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage the budget, and oversee quality of care for residents.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication with residents and families, and collaboration with clinical leadership to achieve outcomes that meet CMS/state regulations and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LNHA license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a related field.
• Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or a related healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state nursing facility regulations and survey processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing staff, budgets, quality initiatives, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and licensing requirements.
• Maintain a culture of resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
• Lead and support department directors, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor clinical, operational, staffing, and quality metrics and implement corrective action.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of facility policies and procedures.
• Prepare for regulatory surveys, audits, inspections, and complaint investigations.
• Develop and monitor the facility's annual operating budget, census goals, labor costs, and financial performance.
• Partner with Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to promote quality outcomes and compliance.
• Monitor staffing levels, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
