Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant in Morgantown, WV to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and delivering engaging programs for independent living and assisted living residents.

You will develop monthly activity plans aligned with Harmony signature wellness dimensions, lead multiple daily programs, and collaborate with the LED, HSD, and HS assistants to create a vibrant, resident-centered activity calendar.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging, and passionate about working with seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in designing, initiating, and implementing diverse recreational and educational programs.
• Develop monthly activity plans based on wellness dimensions (movement, culture, feelings, purpose, connection, leadership).
• Lead 6–7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to determine interests and satisfaction with offerings.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, supplies, and outings for upcoming month.
• Promote programs and recruit volunteers to sustain engagement.
• Assist with documenting records and organizing resident council meetings.
