Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing a broad range of recreational and educational programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will help develop monthly calendars, facilitate multiple daily activities, and collaborate with the broader program team to ensure engaging resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; entry level with 1-3 years highly desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating, and implementing a wide variety of programs.
• Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day and coordinate with the program team.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Organize, maintain, and stage programming areas and supplies.
• Arrange transportation for residents to activities and manage off-site outings.
