Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Katy, Texas, is seeking a full-time Activity Coordinator to enhance residents’ quality of life through engaging programs. You will work under the Resident Experience Director to implement a calendar of events, maintain Life Profiles, and promote health and wellness initiatives within a caring, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include welcoming new residents, coordinating activities, managing supplies, and supporting holiday events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and organizing programs for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Experience Director in planning and providing activities that support residents’ quality of life and meet state requirements.
• Follow programs posted on the Calendar of Events and maintain an active, social, creative environment.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile for each resident.
• Support 'Better Health for a Better Self' health and wellness initiatives.
• Meet new residents and families to introduce the activity program and encourage participation.
