Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Vibrant Life Assistant to safely operate the community van and supervise residents during outings. The role includes assisting residents on and off the vehicle, supporting Vibrant Life activities, and ensuring vehicle safety and proper documentation.

You will engage with residents during tours and outings, report any safety concerns, and contribute to a positive, supportive environment for seniors and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old due to driving requirement.
• High school education required.
• Driver’s license required by state for vehicle capacity.
• Prefer minimum of two years experience driving a vehicle/van with elderly and dementia residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the community van safely for daily outings and medical appointments.
• Assist residents getting on/off the vehicle and supervise during trips.
• Maintain vehicle safety, registration, and insurance information; report issues promptly.
• Engage with residents during outings and participate in Vibrant Life activities.
• Provide support for community marketing through friendly interactions during tours and calls.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Perform day-to-day clerical tasks and attend scheduled trainings.
