Savant Senior Living in Santa Monica, CA is seeking an Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life by planning and facilitating engaging activities and programs. You will work with the Activities Director to create a vibrant social environment and support residents through varied recreation options.

The role requires creativity, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. Holidays, weekends, and flexible hours may be required; driving the community van/bus may be needed to support

Qualifications

• Requires health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance.
• First Aid/ CPR certification required.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in an assisted living or senior care setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging activities tailored to residents' needs and interests.
• Coordinate monthly activity calendars with the Activities Director.
• Escort residents to activities and ensure safety and participation.
• Decorate common areas for seasonal events and social occasions.
• Maintain records of participation and communicate preferences to the Director.
