Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in Recreation or related field are a plus.
• Previous experience in assisted living or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate a diverse range of activities for residents.
• Engage residents in recreational, social, cultural, and educational activities.
• Develop monthly activity calendars with the Activities Director.
• Set up activity areas and gather supplies.
• Guide residents during activities ensuring safety and engagement.
• Encourage participation and adapt programs for varying abilities.
• Maintain records of resident participation and feedback.
• Escort residents to activities and assist with transportation as needed.
• Decorate common areas for seasonal events.
• Support off-site community outings.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols.
