Job summary

Savant Senior Living, LLC is seeking an Activities Assistant for our assisted living community in Los Angeles, CA. You will plan and facilitate engaging activities to enrich residents' daily lives, working with the Activities Director and staff to create a vibrant social environment.

Responsibilities include developing monthly calendars, preparing materials, guiding residents during activities, coordinating outings, and ensuring safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance.
• First Aid/ CPR certification required.
• Experience in recreation or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement activities tailored to residents.
• Engage residents in recreational, social, cultural, and educational activities.
• Develop monthly activity calendars with the Activities Director.
• Set up activity areas and gather supplies.
• Guide residents during activities ensuring safety and engagement.
• Encourage participation and adapt programs for varying abilities.
• Maintain records of participation and resident preferences.
