Job summary

Rosewood Village – Greenbrier in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring an Activities Assistant / Life Enrichment Assistant to support our Assisted Living community. You’ll plan and lead engaging programs—social events, games, fitness activities, music, crafts—and build positive relationships to help residents feel connected and valued.

This full-time daytime role requires every other weekend and offers competitive pay of $17.00–$19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be minimum 18 years old (21 to drive the bus).
• Valid driver’s license or CDL for the state of operation.
• High energy with decision making, problem solving, planning/organization and rapport building.
• Positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Acceptable DMV record for the vehicle operation.
• Drug-free workplace policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lifestyle Director in scheduling activities seven days a week for all residents.
• Prepare and post monthly Lifestyle calendar and distribute to residents.
• Facilitate resident meetings and coordinate with community groups/volunteers for activities.
• Assist in scheduling transportation for residents and drive property vehicles as needed.
• Assess residents’ social and lifestyle activity preferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned in the full job description.
