Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily programs that enrich residents' lives. You will assist with calendars, newsletters, and escort residents to events, while keeping spaces organized and compliant with guidelines.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead small groups. A valid drivers license is preferred and prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
