Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, Ohio, seeks an Activities Assistant/Life Enrichment for the Health Care Center. The role runs full time during day shifts (10am–6pm) with a pay range of $12.00–$13.80 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include implementing activities, transporting residents, one-on-one engagement, documenting participation, and coordinating with other departments to support teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• First Aid Training current and valid or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass activity certification program with training upon hire.
• Onsite presence required.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned activities as outlined on calendar of events.
• Transport residents to and from planned activities in and outside the facility.
• Provide one on one activities with residents unable to attend group activities, when time allows.
• Maintain documentation of resident's participation in activities.
• Organize activity in event of a cancelled event.
• Refer residents/families to the Director of Housing if unable to resolve any resident/family concern.
• Develops and maintains a good rapport with other departments to ensure that a team effort is achieved.
• Assists residents by visiting, writing letters, running errands, communicating with others, providing music, etc. as needed.
