Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an engaged Part-time Activities Aide at our Bismarck facility to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful activities and programs.

You will support activity planning, assist with transport, and help document care while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach in a Christian environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with a focus on dignity and individualized resident engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the activity calendar and lead one-on-one or group activities.
• Support transporting residents to and from rooms and assist with basic nursing procedures.
• Document care and activities in required systems (MDS/EPIC).
• Demonstrate leadership, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with a patient-centered team.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CNA certification preferred

BLS required

CPR training within six months
