Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred; geriatrics experience helpful.
• Preferred current CNA certification or enrollment in a healthcare-related program; BLS may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful activities and interventions for residents, one-on-one or in groups.
• Administer the monthly activity calendar and seek input from residents.
• Assist with simple nursing procedures and transport residents.
• Assist with MDS documentation and ensure activities comply with state requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership and resourcefulness in planning and overseeing activities.
