Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics.
• CNA certification preferred or enrollment in a healthcare-related program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required based on location.
• CPR training required within six months of hire.
• Must be medically qualified to perform driving functions per Sanford Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Strives to improve residents' quality of life through activities and interventions.
• Administers the monthly activity calendar and invites resident input.
• Assists with simple nursing procedures and transporting residents.
• Supports documentation in MDS/EPIC systems.
• Maintains organizational and communication standards; demonstrates leadership and problem-solving.
