Job summary

Compass Senior Living in Portland, OR is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director (LED) and Community Relations Director (CRD) in delivering vibrant activities for residents. You will help set up events, track attendance, and distribute materials with a welcoming, compassionate approach.

You will also manage weekly bulletins and monthly schedules, maintain activity spaces, and assist with transportation duties and resident gifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Meet health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
• Will maintain a valid driver's license for occasional transportation duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist LED in setting up and preparing for upcoming activities.
• Take attendance of residents attending an activity.
• Keep a log for each resident of activities attended.
• Distribute a weekly bulletin prepared by the LED.
• Distribute monthly activity schedules prepared by the LED.
• Ensure activity areas are well maintained after every activity and before the end of each shift.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with other duties as requested.
• Assist in selecting personalized welcome home gifts for new residents.
