Job summary

Wallick Communities at The Ashford at Sturbridge is seeking an Activities Director to provide residents with weekly activities, fostering camaraderie and a sense of purpose. You will help residents stay mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially engaged.

The role requires leading a team of activities assistants, managing supplies, and coordinating with other departments and marketing to promote programs. Prior experience in assisted living is a plus.

• Flexible and compassionate nature.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement and supervise activities for residents.
• Lead and supervise activities assistants including daily delegation.
• Manage supplies budget and purchases on a regular basis.
• Liaise between departments to communicate resident progress and involvement.
• Collaborate with marketing to showcase activities to prospective residents and families.
