Job summary

The Blossoms at White River Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Activities Director to plan, organize and direct the Activity Department, ensuring a comprehensive program aligned with residents' interests and well-being.

You will facilitate group activities, encourage participation, and collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered care on-site in Crossroads, Arkansas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience in Activities Department in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the Activity Department to meet residents' physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage participation.
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities and transportation to activities.
• Coordinate outings and special events and keep activity supplies organized.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights.
