Job summary

The Blossoms seeks an experienced Activities Director to lead the Department in accordance with policies and regulations, ensuring a program that supports residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You will facilitate group activities, encourage involvement, track attendance, and assist with transport and special events while coordinating with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Activities Department in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the Activity Department operations.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage participation.
• Chart attendance and assist with 1 on 1 activities and transports.
• Assist with outings, events, and other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with residents' rights and HIPAA.
