The Blossoms is seeking an Assistant Activity Director to support the Activity Director in planning, developing, and directing activity programs that meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in compliance with regulations and facility policies.

You will coordinate with medical and nursing staff, supervise staff, and participate in committee activities to ensure smooth operation of the activity department and a warm, engaging resident experience.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a medical facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to delegate, coordinate with departments and supervise.
• Experience in activity program planning is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of the facility.
• Coordinate with medical and nursing staff to meet residents’ activity needs.
• Supervise activity staff and participate in committee activities.
• Maintain safety and infection control procedures within the activity department.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other departments.
