Oak Point of Kearney, A Viva Senior Living Community is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents in enrichment and social engagement. You will help create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere and plan engaging activities that respond to individual interests and abilities.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient demeanor and genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Experience in memory care or senior living preferred.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 25 pounds to 5 feet and move 50 feet.

Responsibilities

• Build a community among residents.
• Encourage participation while respecting individual preferences and abilities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engagement to enliven the community.
• Plan and implement activity programs tailored to residents' interests and needs.
