Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management is seeking an Activity Assistant (Part-Time) for Eden Vista Prospect Heights. The role focuses on planning and delivering meaningful activity programming for residents, including one-to-one and group sessions, while documenting participation in the medical record.

The ideal candidate will foster socialization, joy, independence, and wellness, and adapt activities to residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and emotional needs
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, fulfillment, and daily living skill improvement
• Prepare and maintain reports on residents’ progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
