Vantage Point Retirement Living is seeking an Activities Assistant for weekend, part-time coverage to enhance residents' physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual experiences.

You will plan and run programs, invite participation, coordinate with volunteers, and ensure supplies and spaces are ready for events, holidays, and ongoing wellness activities. Experience with senior populations and a flexible schedule are preferred.

• Ability to engage residents and encourage participation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven multitasking across activities and events.
• Proficient with calendars, signs, email, and internet.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning, scheduling and conducting programs for residents.
• Invite and encourage participation in activities.
• Coordinate with team and volunteers to run a comprehensive activities program.
• Attend community events and coordinate from start to finish.
• Plan programs for holidays and special events.
• Coordinate decorations for the community and ensure equipment is available.
• Work with other departments to maintain supplies for activities.
• Plan and facilitate mixed groups and maintain orderly activity areas.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and care for animals/plants when applicable.
• Post and distribute the monthly calendar and newsletters.
• Meet new residents to introduce the program and assist wellness leadership.
• Work with volunteers and address resident groups on topics of interest.
