Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, initiating, and implementing multi-level programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods. The role includes planning monthly activities, coordinating with the program team, and promoting resident participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; subject to state requirements.
• Entry level position with 1-3 years experience highly desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, creates, initiates, facilitates, and implements a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for IL/AL neighborhoods.
• Leads 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
• Develop relationships with residents and families to encourage participation and satisfaction.
• Document and maintain records; assist in organizing resident meetings and volunteer program.
• Arrange transportation/assist residents to activities and appointments as needed.
