Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Sonoma is seeking a part-time Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating and facilitating daily life enrichment activities for active residents.

You will lead group and individual activities, assist with outings, and help nurture residents' physical, mental, and social well-being while contributing to a warm, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6–12 months experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, exercise, arts, music, trips and events.
• Assist with coordinating the monthly newsletter.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes.
• Assist in decorating for events and coordinate external trips.
• Support the Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
