Victory Housing, Inc. is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead a diverse program for residents in a Maryland community. The role emphasizes planning six active daily engagements across varied domains and coordinating transportation for group outings.

You will perform resident assessments, assemble monthly calendars, manage supplies and budget, and contribute to a monthly newsletter. A driver’s license and knowledge of recreational programming are essential for success.

Formación

• Education or training in recreational therapy or a related field or experience with activities planning.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure that the attainment of Victory Housing, Inc. takes precedence over all decisions and actions.
• Plan, organize, and implement at least six active daily activities, 7 days a week.
• Coordinate one-on-one resident activities with Assistant Director using caregivers as needed.
• Drive the community van to destinations with residents and assist during outings.
• Conduct resident assessments within 2 days of admission to tailor activity programs.
• Create monthly activity calendars and publish newsletters with calendars.
• Maintain activity records, attendance, and budget expenditures with receipts.
• Assist in forming Resident Council and document meeting notes as needed.
• Attend seminars and conferences to stay updated on best practices in resident programming.
